Red Juice

Have you tried the Red Juice? My sister told me that it can help those with constipation problems.

I was already convinced by my sister to try it so I went to the drug store to finally get hold of it. Something major, however, stopped me from buying it. It’s the price that made me think first. A 2-liter bottle costs P1,800.00. Based on the directions given, a bottle would only last for 5 days.

While I want my problem to be finally solved, I cannot also spend P1,800.00 just like that.

Would you recommend it?

Fortune Care for Senior Citizens

This could be a helpful information to  those who would want to get health cards for their parents who are already in their senior years.

As I was looking for the best health card that I could get for myself and my husband, I decided to look for an hmo which accepts applications of  senior citizens as well.

At first, I was saddened by the fact that most of the providers accept those who are aged 18-60 only. The other day, however, I chanced upon the website of Fortune Care. There, I found out that their individual accounts covers individuals aged 90 months to 64. After the age of 64, the individual may shift to the senior citizen program which covers individuals aged 65 to 79.  Just like with other providers, they are a little strict with the pre-existing conditions.

HMO

The husband and I decided to get pregnant already. Prior to that, however, I told my husband to give me some time to prepare for the financial aspect of it first. Having heard of the health cards and their benefits, I inquired from other newly-weds regarding the best hmo to get and the benefits that one could get.

Having our decision to get pregnant in mind, I searched for the hmo which offers maternity benefits. Unfortunately, the hmo providers do not provide maternity benefits to individual account applicants. To add to my frustration, the health cards do not cover pre and post natal check-ups as well.

I have decided not to get a health card anymore. The husband, however, encouraged me to still get one. Now, I am in search for the best health card. I have heard of Medicard and Mexicard as the more popular ones.

Can you please help me decide?

Smart Gold and Nokia N96

Last December, I opted to just avail of the Smart Plan bundled with N96. I was told to wait for at least 3 weeks as there were no more phones in stock.

Without hearing any word from them, I thought that the phone will be coming in soon. Good thing, my husband had to make a transaction with them so we went to a Smart Wireless Center last week. I took the opportunity to ask about the availability of the phone. It was only then that I learned that the wireless centers received a memo requiring them to cease from selling/offering the said phones. According to the Smart officer, there were some defects in the N96 phones. They still don’t know when the phones will be available or if the phones would still be given to the existing applicants. Sigh..

Wii Play

I just want to share my opinion regarding this.

If you’re so used to playing the games in Wii Sports and Wii Fit, playing the games in Wii Play might come out to be a little disappointing. I guess this set of games is meant for kids, unlike the two previous sets which can be enjoyed by both adults and kids.

If you’ll ask me if it’s worth buying, my answer will be in the negative.

Wii Sports

To those who do not have that much time and patience to go to the gym, I would suggest playing Wii Sports instead.

During the holidays, my husband and I were able to exercise and, at the same time, enjoy playing together. Wii Sports gives you the feeling of playing the real thing. For me, bowling and tennis are the games that I enjoy the most. The hubby, on the other hand, enjoys baseball as well. He also tried boxing and golf but didn’t seem to enjoy them.
