Oh, about the Belle de Jour 2009 Planner..

My sister wanted to get hold of the planner. We went to several National Bookstore and Powerbooks branches. Surprisingly, they’re all out of stock. Wow! There must really be something about the Belle de Jour Planner.

 To those who would still want to get it, I think the better way to go is to have one reserved. We actually chanced upon a lady who luckily got a planner because she had it reserved previously. As for my sister, she said she’ll just wait for the racks to be filled with the next batch of planners.

Good thing I remembered about my sticker card.

I tried to claim my Starbucks 2009 planner this afternoon. I was told that due to the overwhelming response to the planner promo, they ran out of stock. The next set of planners would be available on January 16.

I think that the availability on January 16 applies to all branches. 

Sleepless Night

Last night, I had a little issue with the hubby. It’s actually not that big but it was something that I could not tolerate.

Being a not so big issue, I still talked to the hubby when I saw him. I, however, could not force myself to be the usual me. I was not able to sleep well. I already got used to clinging to the hubby before I sleep but I opted not to.

 On our way to the office,  I still could not force myself to be the normal me. As of this writing, I am so sad. L

 

Happy New Year!

It’s 2009. It’s been a long time since my last post. I actually opted to just enjoy the vacation.

How was your vacation? I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Since it was our first time to celebrate the Christmas holidays as a couple, we initially had to settle where the Christmas Eve and the New Year’s Eve would be spent. It was a bit tiring to be going from our house to their house during the holidays. It was , however, enjoyable as  well because we got to celebrate the special occasions with our loved ones.

Eye Infection

How was your weekend? I bet, most of you went shopping last weekend. I was scheduled to do the same. The husband, however, caught an eye infection. That’s why we just had to stay at home.

I was thinking that what he got was merely a sty. I told him to just relax and wait for it to take its natural course. It will get swollen but will dry up soon. Yesterday afternoon, however, the inflammation was so bad. Good thing he agreed to have his eye checked in the hospital.

 I learned that such a case should be given prompt and appropriate medical attention. Any infection in that area would eventually affect the brain. It was explained that there’s a direct connection from the eye to the brain. I hope he gets well soon.

iPhone or N96 ?

Yipee! Even after the wedding expenses, the husband allowed me to buy a Christmas gift for myself. J

Right now, I am busy searching the net for the most comprehensive and most reliable iPhone vs. N96 comparison/review. On the function side, it seems that the N96 wins. On the aesthetic side, however, the iPhone wins big time.

What do you think? I’m now having a hard time deciding. I think I must make a decision now before the husband changes his mind. J
